Assessing market trends, quantifying opportunities and developing marketing programs, Field Marketing at Dell Technologies is at the forefront of customer engagement. Responsible for a specific location, department or product, our teams drive marcom strategy – from making budget recommendations to defining roadmaps and informing content themes. Interacting directly with customers and utilizing third-party customer data, they provide Dell’s product marketing and messaging team with game-changing feedback. At the highest level, they develop and drive marketing policies and activities, from market research through brand management and product development to pricing.

What you’ll achieve

Looking for talented individual to lead the Marketing Operations, Planning & Analytics in the NA Server CoC (Center of Competence) organization. The ideal candidate would Serve as the SME for the Server business and deliver insights that influences the Sales execution. A thorough understanding of GTM, and an ability to drive execution to accelerate business performance will be highly desirable.

The candidate would lead the marketing Operations and analytics for North Americas Server business. This is role that requires strong understanding of the Server market, emerging technologies and usage models / workloads for Servers.

The role will have strategic planning and business intelligence responsibilities, including Server programs, market opportunity analysis, competitive analysis, customer usage insights. In this role, the candidate will be expected to leverage experience in Business Intelligence and analytics. Prior knowledge of CoC / Sales Operations / RAD tools is highly desirable

You will:

  • Provide senior leadership the clarity on business performance in view of external and Internal dynamics.

  • Lead creation of executive presentation and decks

  • Provide Server business analytics related to market, Dell's Route to Market, Sales Segments, and other related areas

  • Generate strategic insights on Server business in view of Data center strategy of Enterprise customers

  • Lead the structuring, planning, and execution of the BI initiatives/ growth – projects. Develop data-driven insights to identify and prioritize growth initiatives; collaborating with cross functional stakeholders to ensure inclusion and data integrity

  • Identify market opportunities for Servers; analyze growth areas and market gaps by industry vertical and customer type

  • Apply broad knowledge of company’s Server solutions capabilities and competitive environment to identify new growth areas, new technology and emerging product/service opportunities.

  • Partner with regional, sub-region and country leadership teams to develop Server multi-year business plans and/or country growth plans

  • Ensure stakeholder alignment to the business plan and/or strategic initiatives and interlock with world-wide planning processes

  • Develop a region wide GTM plan and enable sales with the appropriate training and support

  • Drive the development and communications of product definition and solution plans to optimize the company’s Server portfolio

Essential Requirements

  • Bachelors in Engineering and an MBA or demonstrable equivalent business degree/diploma;

  • 8+ years post-MBA experience at a top-tier strategy consulting firm or in corporate strategy; 12+ years of total experience

  • Strong analytical, financial modeling and business strategy & planning experience with large multi-national firms, across different geographies and BUs/Functions

  • Proven track record of leading cross-functional project teams through complex problems with confidence and clarity of outcomes. Work collaboratively across organizations to help secure commitment for cross-BU efforts
