Dell Financial Analysis Sr Analyst in Bayan Lepas, Malaysia

The Financial Planning & Analysis role is responsible to support the Transformation Costs (TC) and Global Fulfillment & Logistics (GFL) on analytics and reporting. The individual will play a key role in the preparing requisite data and support for the senior analysts around financial outlooks and actual quarterly performance.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Contribute to the TC team managing the cost adder process, with regular interlocks with business partners such as the Cost Planning and Cost Analytics team

  • Responsible to track, maintain, and call out outlooks for week 6 and week 10 each quarter for new cost adders, and provide timely update on the cost movements

  • To work within the TC team to develop a robust and efficient tracking sheet for new cost adders in legacy Dell to support the outlook process

  • Maintain the GFL database and template refresh for reporting and analytical needs

  • EMC GFL opex controlling, managing around $1M spend per quarter, including PO spend approval and headcount tracking

  • Participate in the quarterly outlook, actual results, and annual planning process

  • Ad hoc analysis as required


  • Bachelor’s degree in Business ,Finance or Accounting; CPA or CIA/MBA qualification preferred

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in Audit, Controls & Compliance, Finance, Accounting or related fields.

  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office suites. SAP and Oracle knowledge is a plus

  • Previous Excel modeling and FP&A experience preferred
