TSB Program Manager
The telecommunications industry is going through a major transformation within its network driven by several technology shifts, including 5G, the virtualization of the network functions and advancements in OSS/BSS including utilization of AI/ML. The Telecom Systems Business Unit is a rapidly growing global organization comprised of specialized experts dedicated to strategically and intimately partnering with Telco customer who are deeply engaged in a transformation within their network by delivering best-in-class technology and service solution based on offering from Dell Technologies.
The TSB Program Manager works on one to multiple Telecom accounts with large, complex Telecom Transformations and is responsible for ensuring there is a plan for success within those engagements. The TSB Program Manager will support the global, cross-functional account team in developing and executing the client’s Telecom Transformation Plan to achieve customer and Dell Technologies objectives. This requires clearly defining and gaining agreement on goals, milestone’s, owners and measures of success with a structured, executive-level governance cadence.
The TSB Program Manager must demonstrate leadership values, embrace a collaborative working environment, bring together disparate resources and points of views and thrive in a complex, fast-paced environment.
Assigned to one or more DT Select Telco accounts that require global execution with the highest complexity and strategic importance to Dell Technologies.
Support the Client Executive, Telecom Consultant, Client Principal and rest of the global account team (Transformation Pod) on all facets of the overall engagement.
Align above personnel to ensure a single voice and POV in front of the customer.
Manage the joint creation of the client’s plan of record, ensuring visibility and consensus on workstreams, owners and milestones.
Implement and manage a governance model with executive cadences and appropriate dashboards to closely track, report and escalate.
Act as the connection point across and within the client, DT (functions and the account team) and potential partners, realizing dependencies, identifying gaps and implementing contingency plans.
Evaluates and implements best practices techniques that ensure goal achievement.
Influences and manages continuous improvement of project/program process, practices and initiatives.
Maintains in-depth awareness of industry trends, business conditions and internal processes and practices to meet program delivery requirement.
Ability to lead large cross-functional project teams
Aligns team through clear direction, partnership and communications
Excellent communication and presentation skills to senior leadership
Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Office products
Advanced communication, problem solving and presentation skills
Possesses Advanced product/technology/industry knowledge
Ability to influence others to achieve results
Typically requires 10+ years of related experience in a professional role with a Bachelor’s degree; or 6+ years with a Master’s degree; or 3+ years with a PhD; or equivalent experience.
Thorough understanding of the sales and pursuit management process with the ability to navigate and progress long, complex sales cycles.
Self -motivated and able to work under pressure; dependable with deliverables and deadlines, able to multi-task.
Able to adapt to a constantly changing environment; flexibility to work extended hours during peak periods.
