Consultant- Global Program Manager for New Offers

The Program Management team delivers next-generation and new Hardware, Software and solution products for a changing world. The Technical Program Management professionals lead cross-functional teams to develop and introduce game-changing new products and solutions. It’s about making sure we offer customers the right features, experience, quality, schedule, cost, continuity of supply, service capability and financials. Working to deliver cutting edge products, we are responsible for the end to end product development and delivery, from initial Concept to the End of the product’s Life. Given the criticality and responsibility of the role, this team is comprised of some of the most experienced/senior team members in the company. Key Responsibilities

This is a Consultant role within Dell’s product development organization. It requires attention to detail, diligence, a strong knowledge of the technology and the ability to communicate and influence at many levels of the organization.

  • Lead a globally diverse cross functional core team through the full product life cycle.

  • Manage all aspects and details of the program deliverables to achieve business goals.

  • Develop and present program status, recommendations and business metrics to Senior Executive team.

Essential Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree; Engineering or Computer Science preferred.

  • Typically requires 12+ years of related experience in a professional role with a Bachelor’s degree; or 10+ years and a Master’s degree or equivalent experience

  • Broad experience base in multiple areas of new product development.

  • Demonstrated experience leading teams either direct management or indirect management of a program team. (e.g. prior military experience or indirect management of a large complex program)

  • Demonstrated understanding of technical, operational and the business aspects of new product introduction.

Desirable Requirements

  • Graduate Degree; MBA or advanced Engineering preferred.

  • Experience working with global teams.

  • Experience in Enterprise class environments (servers, storage, solutions etc.)
