What you’ll achieve

Not even ground-breaking products sell themselves. That’s the job of our inside sales professionals. They take to market a product portfolio that includes PCs, electronics, accessories, mobility products, enterprise solutions, services and packaged software. Inside Sales Management is all about managing, inspiring and motivating professionals at all levels to deliver against targets. Beyond day-to-day people management, our team also shapes, executes and communicates specific sales strategies

The position is for a Director to manage and run the UK Small Business Sales Division based in Hyderabad. This business is a very high growth business and the appointed person is expected to influence and implement the strategy to deliver the three-year business aspiration.

You will:

  • Drives all key P&L metrics (units, revenue, margin, bad & aged debt, operating expense) for the UK Small Business team

  • Drives and manages all operational metrics for the UK Small business team: talk time, outage, attrition, training and ethics compliance

  • Manages inside sales team members. Represents, communicates and executes on specific sales strategies.

  • Provides authoritative advice to top leadership based on deep subject matter expertise. Accountable for related performance objectives

  • Provides direction, development and inspiration to team members

Essential Requirements

  • Strong knowledge of the small business industry and business dynamics

  • Experience running an inside sales center through first line managers

  • 6+ years leadership & people management experience

  • Understands complexities of the environment and works within Dell to solve complex business issues

  • Collaborates with other functions to resolve escalations/customer issues quickly

  • Ability to manage team of 200 people
