Dell Tax Analyst in Jakarta, Indonesia

Dell is a global, multi-billion-dollar corporation, so our Tax team has a huge task in ensuring that we meet our tax obligations. It’s a wide-ranging area – from tax research, planning and compliance, through to developing and implementing systems to support data collection, analysis, preparation and submission. Whether preparing and completing tax returns and reports, catching up with the latest developments in tax law or answering enquiries from a host of internal and external customers, we’re always switched on and on top of our game.

Position Summary

Gather tax information required to prepare tax returns and related reports. Prepares tax related journal entries and reconciles general ledger accounts. Responsible for various special projects and tax research assignments. Assists with tax audit requests as assigned. Processes, verifies, approves and meets deadlines on tax liabilities.


  • Gather tax information required to prepare VAT tax returns. Maintain tax records in compliant with local tax regulation

  • Collaborate with Trade Compliance team for Article 22 reconciliation. Maintain Article 22 detailed listing and monitor the trend. Maintain tax records in compliant with local tax regulation

  • Gather general ledger information to support income tax returns.

  • Provide support to accounting teams regarding tax entries and reconciliation of tax related general ledger accounts, i.e. VAT ledger

  • Responsible for Article 23 returns and record keeping

  • Creates and/or maintains tax related database, spreadsheets, etc. to ensure accurate tax reporting.

  • Responds to questions and requests assigned for information from internal departments

  • Interfaces with appropriate departments to research disputes and resolve internal and external customer issues.

  • Provide support for ad hoc tax matters, i.e. tax and business projects.


  • 4 years + experience in a large MNC and/or a CPA firm with a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or Taxation;

  • General tax knowledge, general analytics skills and general problem-solving skills;

  • Demonstrated oral and written communication;

  • Demonstrated organization and time management skills;

  • Intermediate excel, word skills;

  • Accountable, positive attitude and resilience under pressure.
