Infrastructure Delivery Services – Project Management Manager 1

Infrastructure Delivery Services (IDS) is a mature business residing inside of the Support & Deployment Services (SDS) and is responsible for delivering onsite & remote deployment mid-range and low-range storage solutions for our customers. The organization is functionally comprised of project managers, technical resources (solution architects & engineers), and team that provides direct support to the front line team. We are searching for the right person to lead a new project support teams in Panama to support the IDS Americas business; approximately 15 team members and made up of both regular and contract employees. The ideal candidate embodies Dell’s Culture Code and has a passion for building dynamic teams that achieve exemplary results.


  • Hire, train, and coach team members; maintain pipeline of talented resources to meet growing needs of IDS business

  • Provide thought leadership and expertise on internal process optimization and alignment efforts

  • Drive accountability and continuous improvement through the use of metrics and regular reviews with key stakeholders

Knowledge & Skills

  • Strong ability to lead, motivate, and direct multiple workgroups

  • Possess a passion for coaching and developing team members

  • Strong understanding of project management practices and methodologies

  • Experience working in a matrixed environment

  • Strong problem solving skills

  • Strong communication skills – English and Spanish required, Portuguese desirable
