They are responsible for developing and driving global and regional communication strategies and delivering marketing services.   • Serve as a trusted advisor and communications consultant to the President of Client Solutions Group (CSG) Commercial Sales and the President of Global Consumer & Small Business (CSB) and their senior staff

  • Provide strategic communications counsel and execution support across the CSG Sales organization.

  • Develop a global internal communications strategy that aligns the team around our vision, strategic initiatives and priorities. Implement the communications plan, including translating business strategy, initiatives and progress into clear messages for team members; developing communication materials, including talking points, presentations, written strategy updates, strategic social media content; developing, maintaining and curating CSG Sales content on the Intranet; producing communications events and forums, such as quarterly town hall meetings, manager meetings, team member roundtables; and developing issues/crisis management plans and materials

  • Help drive team member engagement by ensuring communications promote a collaborative, connected and inclusive culture

  • Support change management initiatives, as needed, to help team members navigate organizational change

  • Collaborate with business partners within CSG Sales and across the company (e. g. HR, Sales, Marketing, Public Relations, etc.) to identify and advise on communication opportunities

  • Drive broader visibility for CSG Sales leveraging pan-Dell vehicles, as appropriate

  • Produce content for the President of CSB’s external engagements, such as press and analyst meetings and presentations at industry events, such as CES, Dell@Retail and Dell Technologies World

  • Measure the effectiveness of communications events, and of the communications program overall, and provide regular updates to leadership


  • Proven success as a communications strategist who has developed and executed effective communications plans to advance business goals

  • Speed, agility and the ability to influence and lead change

  • Strong skills in writing, editing, messaging, speech writing, executive platform and presentation development, project management and problem-solving

  • Experience in employee communications, public relations, change management and event management.

  • Experience partnering with business operations, PR and HR colleagues to drive business results.

  • Experience identifying and measuring communications metrics.

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications or related field preferred

Desirable Requirements:

  • The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 8 years of technology-related communications experience

  • Advanced understanding of multi-media platforms for executive storytelling, like blogs, video production, podcasts, social media and webcasts

  • Ability to operate in matrix organizations and manage multiple projects concurrently; comfortable working with remote colleagues and stakeholders; experience working across disciplines and geographies
