Consultant, Sales Strategy & Planning
We are searching for a Sales Planning & Strategy Senior Advisor to drive key sales strategic initiatives, and support the development of long-term sales growth plans and objectives. Senior Advisor will develop and manage sales measurement models and diagnostic tools to help identify sales performance indicators, key areas of opportunity and sales force training and development needs. Analyze and recommend strategic priorities, performance metrics and sales effectiveness tracking methods in order to maintain and improve the company’s competitive advantage in the market.
We are currently looking for a Consultant to join our Sales Strategy & Planning team in Round Rock, TX.
Liaise between sales organization and other internal functions to improve business performance and contribute to corporate goals and strategic intent
Manages and leads critical programs for sales benefit against planning strategies including developing new processes, as well as drives process improvements with simplification and productivity enhancements
Extensive collaboration with partner organizations, including communications and information dissemination with sales team and cross- functional organizations
Contributes to area areas by ensuring quality of tasks/services provided by self and others
Influences a broad spectrum of stakeholders toward achieving business goals
Leverages business acumen and financial acumen to provide insights, recommendations and execute program delivery.
Creates own data scenarios to analyze data for key business insights including development of key business metrics and reporting
MBA preferred with a minimum of 2 years of experience in sales planning, operations, business analytics or related fields, or 5-8+ years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and work experience
Solid understanding and experience with Dell sales tools (GOV, Fusion, DSA, POM, GAMA, SFDC, BMS, Delta), and Operational Tools processes( OP, Collections, CFI, Premier Support, Customer Care) Data flows and proficient in data /insight delivery .
Analyzes and recommends strategic priorities, sales performance metrics and sales effectiveness tracking methods in order to maintain and improve the company’s competitive advantage in the market
Utilizes cross functional operational support to maximize sales force productivity
Organized and able to plan & manage large projects with rapid implementation timelines successfully executing to goals and strategies
Experience in business analysis and understanding of sales behaviors & marketing programs
Strong presentation and communication skills, and comfortable working with senior leadership
