Dell is a global, multi-billion-dollar corporation, so our Tax team has a huge task in ensuring that we meet our tax obligations. It’s a wide-ranging area – from tax research, planning and compliance, through to developing and implementing systems to support data collection, analysis, preparation and submission. Whether preparing and completing tax returns and reports, catching up with the latest developments in tax law or answering enquiries from a host of internal and external customers, we’re always switched on and on top of our game.
Supervises and reviews the preparation of tax returns, estimated payments and tax provision to ensure the calculations are accurate and timely.
Maintains a professional relationship with audit staff, and manages auditor activities to minimize audit scope and duration.
Provides support to accounting personnel regarding tax entries and reconciliation of tax related general ledger accounts.
Responsible for complex projects associated with the maintenance of tax records and developing and implementing systems for tax reporting.
Minimizes escalations at process level through increased efficiency & effectiveness.
Trains and coaches less experienced team members.
Bachelor's degree and 8-10 years of relevant experience or Master's degree and 6-8 years of relevant experience.
