Dell Senior Consultant, Strategic Business Development in Taipei, Taiwan

You will be driving strategic projects for Dell Technologies with high visibility within Dell’s executive leadership team. You will lead a team of internal consultants and report directly to the Vice President of Client Production Procurement in Global Operations. Key responsibilities include:

•Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop sourcing strategies for keycommodities based on market dynamics, supplier landscape, technology evolution, andmarketing roadmap and requirements

•Develop strategies for continuity of supply (COS) and support event management toensure consistent supply of critical commodities

•Act as Chief of Staff for the Senior Vice President and lead project management office(PMO), talent management, recruiting, and budgeting for organization

•Coach, mentor, and develop team members as well as provide effective performancefeedback on a regular basis

Additionally, you will also have the opportunity to work with senior executives across the broader Dell organization to shape and drive strategic agendas as the team will have frequent exposure to Dell’s senior executives from Operations, Finance, Product and Sales/Marketing organizations. This role is designed as an entry point for high potential candidates. Subsequent roles will have increasing levels of responsibility in Dell’s Global Operations organization.

•Engagement Manager or equivalent experience at a top-tier management consulting firm is strongly preferred•Strong influencing skills and ability to build lasting relationships across multiple layers in the organization and able to gain respect of cross-functional stakeholders•Demonstrated successes in multiple strategy development projects; strong leadership skills and an ownership mindset•High tech or operations knowledge / experience a plus
