Dell Competitive Marketing Intelligence Sr. Advisor (100% Remote) in Texas

Job Title

Using market and competitor information and cutting edge analysis, we identify trends to evaluate new business opportunities, mergers, acquisitions, alliances or joint ventures. We also develop partnerships with key customers.

What you’ll achieve

At the core of this role is the ability to understand technical and business-level competitive analysis and then turn it into high-impact competitive intelligence content. The content developed will help to fuel successful go-to-market and sales acceleration. In order to be successful, you will need to be extremely collaborative across our internal and external organization, an effective communicator and presenter, be able to simplify and communicate very complex topics/ideas.

You will be responsible for

  • Create competitive assets including blogs, social media content, customer facing documents, internal communications, and more, to articulate our competitive positioning, messaging and product strategy

  • Develop and deliver sales enablement material such as field flashes to help improve overall sales effectiveness and performance

  • Align with core marketing stakeholders, to integrate competitive content into relevant marketing activities and programs, and influence marketing and messaging direction

You will work with cross-functional teams such as Product Marketing, Market Intelligence, Campaign and Field Marketing, Digital and Social Media teams across the marketing organization, as well as key Sales and Product Stakeholders.

Essential Requirements

  • Experience in marketing communication channels (social media, digital media) and how to effectively craft a message for high impact across each medium

  • Effective communicator and presenter, ability to simplify and communicate very complex topics/ideas

  • Ability to study the market, market trends, and competitors and develop a competitive sales messaging and GTM strategy to best position Dell Technologies

Desirable Requirements

  • 5+ years Marketing or relevant experience, Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing; MBA preferred

  • Experience using internal data sources as well as research to develop simple and effective communications and messaging for complex topics
