Sr Product Manager – Dell Cloud Services

What you will achieve
This senior-level Product Management role is part of the Services Technology team. The core aspect of this role will be to support the development of Services enablement technologies geared towards our Cloud-based offers and help grow our understanding of the competitive technology landscape and market trends in the Cloud managed-services space. Being able to communicate interline comparisons of those competitive capabilities with Dell Technologies own capabilities will help grow this thriving business! Our role also involves acting as subject matter expert for internal and external product events or partner meetings.
Collaborate with our internal stakeholders (Managed Services, Services’ Offer, Enterprise Product, IT and the VMware teams) and external customers to identify relevant and differentiated Services-related technology capabilities for our Cloud offers
Translate those capabilities into roadmaps and then epics and user stories for execution by the engineering teams, and then collaborating with the engineering teams to ensure that the execution is in alignment with the desired technology outcomes
Work across multiple senior leadership teams demonstrating experience in influencing, negotiating, and collaboration skills

Every Dell Technologies team member brings something unique to the table. Here’s what we are looking for with this role:
12+ years of related experience with a bachelor’s degree; or 10+ years with a Master’s degree and 5+ years’ Technology Industry experience in Product Management or relevant role
Prior experience with any of the following: Subscription models, Consumption models, Managed Services, Infrastructure (e.g. servers, storage, data protection, converged infrastructure, hyperconverged infrastructure), Everything-as-a-Service, Cloud operating models, Hybrid Cloud solutions)
Knowledge of solutions, tools & technology in the provisioning, cost management, security & compliance, monitoring and incident/service management
Experience defining Cloud service offers and/or service catalogs for IaaS, PaaS or SaaS
Prior experience with Amazon AWS, Microsoft Azure, and/or Google Cloud Platform related services
Experience defining projects, collecting requirements, writing detailed functional specifications, coordinating efforts to scope, schedule and deploy new feature sets
Experience with Cloud Native platforms such as VMware Tanzu, Pivotal, OpenShift, and Kubernetes a plus
Prior experience working in hybrid cloud management platform, hybrid cloud managed services or cloud security services
Familiarity with VMware platform software (i.e. VMware Cloud Foundation, vRealize, CloudHealth)
