Dell APAC Sales Training Enablement Leader - Virtustream - Japanese / English speaking in Japan

This position will be the primary focal for handling face to face training and enablement for Virtustream sales and presales, DELL EMC Channel enablement, and Virtustream and Dell ECM Partners for the Asia Pacific Region with a focus on business in Australia, Japan and South Korea. This person will work closely with Virtustream Sales and Dell EMC Channel Enablement team to assure the necessary support materials are available for each strategically identified country. This person will also be called upon to monitor and coordinate Virtustream presentations at Dell EMC and Virtustream led executive briefings (EBC’s). The successful candidate will be working closely with global enablement, APAC sales leader, global Executive Briefings, and global and local marketing. The role will be measured on the success of properly enabling key salespeople and pre-sales solution architect teams, and engagement with executive briefings for the purpose of identifying new opportunities or moving an existing opportunity forward as measured through Salesforce.com tracking.
Enterprise Applications experience is essential. Including SAP is a plus
The person fulfilling this position will have 10+ years’ experience
3-5 years Solution Architect and/or IT Solution Consulting experience
Fluent in English, Japanese
Direct experience working with selling “IT services”
Able to successfully communicate business value of Virtustream solutions and demonstrate technical ideas to executive and technical audiences
Experience managing and training both sales and sales solution architects is desired.
Direct experience working with Dell and/or EMC enablement is a plus.
1 to 3 years’ experience working with SI partners is a strong plus.

Demonstrate technical thought leadership in customer-facing situations
Solid understanding of the competitive landscape
Deep understanding of Enterprise IT and cloud computing
Lead face to face training (either in person or via video/teleconference) in the region
Lead enablement requirements communication to Global team to deliver better support for each target country sales teams
Participate in EMC EBC events as principal Virtustream presenter across target countries (client presentations)
Partner with sales leaders to present Virtustream value proposition and technology
Work with local Dell EMC marketing and Enablement teams to promote Virtustream in key events and communications, including social media
Assist sales leaders in identifying education and enablement gaps; developing and/or implementing programs and resources to close gaps
